It’s not long now before the kids go back to school so we thought we would make some suggestions for making back-to-school shopping easy. Take the stress out of the shopping by doing it all online.  You can shop any time, 24/7 and you won’t have to drag the kids around the shop or worry about the ‘pester power’ which means you end up spending more than you planned. Plus it all gets delivered straight to your door, and of course, if you shop online via SchoolBuy, a percentage of what you spend goes to the school of your choice. Just be sure to click the link from SchoolBuy once you’ve nominated your school so we know where you want the funds directed.

Here are some of our retail partners that can help with your back-to-school shopping.

1)       Uniforms

For uniforms and clothing have a look at Stubbies Schoolwear. This well-known brand has been outfitting Australian students since 1972 with quality clothing. Their website offers a complete range of schoolwear for boys and girls including polos, shorts, pants, skirts, sportswear, jackets, jumpers and shoes. Another retailer which is great for kids’ clothing that won’t break the bank is Big W. They too sell affordable polos, shorts, shoes and more. Plus, at the Big W website you can pick up a whole lot of other school requirements at the same time.

2)       Shoes

Our top pick for school shoes would have to be Clarks which has been synonymous with quality school shoes for over 100 years. The Clarks website has some online tools to help you pick the correct size to ensure your child’s shoes are as comfortable as they are durable. And they even have a sale on at the moment. If it is sports shoes they need, have a look at Rebel, which will also be able to help with sports equipment and clothing.

3)       Books

We are always amazed at the huge range of titles stocked by online book retailers like Booktopia and The Nile. They have hundreds of titles for both the primary and high school curriculum – and they are usually cheaper than you’ll find elsewhere.

4)       Technology

If it’s a new laptop or tablet, or perhaps even a new computer for home that your child needs, check out either Dell or Lenovo. Both have great deals, and Lenovo even offers special pricing for all students and teaching staff. Plus they both donate a percentage of what you spend to your school.

5)       Backpacks, Lunchboxes, Stationery, etc.

If you haven’t come across Identity Direct before have a look at their website. They specialise in personalised products so they site is great for lunchboxes, backpacks, stationery and other school supplies for primary school kids – and they’ve absolutely got name labels covered. As mentioned above, Big W is also good for these types of school needs with every kind of lunchbox and drinks bottle you can image. And the best thing about their products are the prices - so you won’t mind as much if these items get lost (though, if you buy some name labels hopefully that’ll be less likely to happen).

Good luck with all the back-to-school requirements. We hope that you and your kids have a fantastic school year ahead. As always, many thanks for supporting our great Aussie schools by shopping via SchoolBuy.
