New Offers for December

Regular visitors to the site would know that each month we list some of the fantastic new retail partners who have just joined SchoolBuy. As always, with every purchase made at these stores a percentage of what you spend goes to the school of your choice. We think that has to be one of the best ways to fundraise because it doesn’t cost you a cent, and you can shop knowing you’re helping others.  

For anyone new to SchoolBuy, the key is to always visit the SchoolBuy site first and click the link to the retailer where you want to shop. That way the online store knows which school you want to support and can make the contribution on your behalf.

Here are the new retailers for December - just in time for Christmas!

So, it’s worth a visit to their website to order their unique products as gifts – or just to spoil yourself.

2) Woolworths Insurance

The end of the year is always a good time to review your insurance cover to give you peace of mind for the coming year.  If you’re comparing insurance products, why not check out Woolworths Insurance? As a name you know and trust, Woolworths offers the same great value you would expect from Woolies with flexible policies, easy claims and affordable premiums.  They provide car, home, pet, travel and life insurance so, if you’re going away these holidays, you can sign up for travel insurance and do your home and contents insurance at the same time. Plus, with their travel insurance they offer free cover for children under 21. You can fill in their online form to get a quote and if you sign up for insurance they’ll donate $15 per policy to the school of your choice.

3) My Chemist

The My Chemist website delivers quality brands at affordable prices for all your health and beauty needs. Their range is enormous and includes vitamins, weight loss products, and medicines plus beauty products including fragrances, skin care, hair care and cosmetics. One of the services they provide is filling prescriptions. You mail them your script and they keep your repeats on file, sending you an email reminder when you need to purchase more. You then pay for the prescription online and they deliver the medicine to your door – and all PBS subsidised prescriptions are delivered free of charge. How good is that? We think that’s a great idea for elderly relatives or if you just want one less thing to have to remember.

4) GotStock

Although most of the SchoolBuy retail partners are shopping sites for individual consumers, GotStock is a bit different. This site is primarily aimed at small to medium sized businesses and allows users to purchase from categories as diverse as hardware, kitchen supplies, cleaning products, tools, packaging, protective equipment and workwear. So, if you’re involved in ordering supplies for your school or even your own business, we think you will find this a very handy site. Essentially, GotStock saves you time and money by bringing together, in one place, a lot of the products and consumables you would use in your business. And of course, by visiting SchoolBuy first 4.5% of the value of your order will be donated to your chosen school.
