Woolworths Earn And Learn Program

We're genuinely excited by some of the large scale promotions which are currently benefiting Australian schools and their students. The Woolworths Earn & Learn program is one of those initiatives which is running from July 18th to September 18th 2011. We definitely encourage all schools particpating in SchoolBuy to also become involved with programs like this one from Woolies.

For every $10 that is spent in store at Woolworths, you receive 1 Woolworths Earn & Learn point which can be redeemed from a choice of over 7,000 educational supplies. Tobacco and alcohol products are sensibly excluded from the program as well as gift cards and purchases made at Woolworths online or at Caltex Woolworths fuel outlets. 

One of the impressive features of this program is that the focus is educational supplies. Some of the categories for schools to redeem points are: books, mathematics, interactive whitebaord supplies, furniture, puzzles, robotics, science and arts and craft. Like SchoolBuy, the Woolworths Earn & Learn program does not require shoppers to pay any extra in order for the school to benefit. You do need to visit a Woolworths store to collect dockets and points, so it's not an ideal program for regional schools in remote areas where a Woolies is not accessible. The Woolworths Earn & Learn program is not available for childcare centres, pre-schools or family day cares.
